How to contact the Police

Good evening,

It has been brought to the attention of the Safer Neighbourhood Teams that many across Southall do not know when or how they should call Police. A simple Poster has been created to share with you all which should show exactly when to dial 999 or 101.

Is it an emergency?

In emergency situation like these:

There is an immediate danger to life.

Someone is using violence or is threatening to be violent.

A crime is happening in the moment, such as a burglary or a theft.

The suspect is still at the scene.

CALL 999

If it is not an emergency?

If you have witnessed or been the victim of crime that is not an emergency, it is important that you still report it to us. You can report non emergency incidents via phoning 101 or online by going to the Metropolitan Police website and filling out the online form
